LBS Plastic diverted from landfills
With Stericycle, you get a comprehensive service that includes reliable collections, safe, compliant waste disposal, straightforward expert advice, and excellent customer service.
As an experienced healthcare waste specialist, we know how important it is for your dental practice to get segregation, storage and disposal of harmful materials right – for your staff, patients and reputation.
As an industry leader, Stericycle understands the importance of compliantly managing the collection, transportation, treatment, and appropriate disposal of various types of dental waste as required by regulations in your area. These are just an example of some of the waste types we collect from dental practices:
We offer various collection types for sharps waste, including non-hazardous material, medicinally contaminated or cytotoxic substances.
Used in most dental casts, gypsum has a high sulphate content and must be disposed of compliantly. We offer a range of sealed containers for you to store all types of gypsum waste.
Foils used when taking patients x-rays can be toxic and are classed as hazardous waste. They need to be stored separately and handled by a compliant waste provider.
Our containers allow the secure storage of amalgam waste, a type of dental filling material that contains mercury. We ensure this hazardous waste is disposed of compliantly.
‘We’re passionate about providing top quality dental care for our patients and working with a partner who can offer a similar high level of service across our practice network. We couldn’t be more pleased with the sustainable and cost effective solutions that Stericycle is providing us - and helping us continue to meet strict industry compliance.’
